Casa De Fox - Great Home in the Rainforest w/private pool & Wi-Fi

"Our family of six stayed here for three nights while we explored the national parks and beaches near Manuel Antonio. The home was very comfortable and quite large, with two bedrooms upstairs with sleeping for five and the primary bedroom downstairs. The pool was a welcome respite to cool off after after hiking. We had an SUV so we had no trouble getting to the place, but as others have mentioned it is pretty secluded and you need to drive along a dirt road and up some hills to get to the home. Brian was very helpful and responsive, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall we had a great time here."

"Our stay at this Vrbo home was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The home itself was stunning—beautifully designed, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need.The secluded location was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, private, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Waking up to incredible views every morning was a dream, and to top it off, we even had monkeys visit us one morning, which was a highlight for the whole family!The host was attentive and responsive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and stress-free. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a gorgeous setting with top-notch hospitality, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!"

"This beautiful log cabin is perched in the hills where the deck catches the mountain breezes. Bring binoculars for birdwatching! We lived on that deck! The air conditioning is once for sleeping, and the kitchen is small but functional. The drive up to the cabin from the main house is very steep, but we made it up without 4 wheel drive since I am used to driving up hills in snow and ice! If you are not, rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Or take the bus (4) or taxi 14) from Quepos. Sheyla is an amazing host and made sure we were comfortable, including bringing up another pot for the kitchen (I cook a lot when we travel). Plus, she knows several guides in the area if you are interested in tours. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Shower water temp beyond control. Bathroom is old and could be cleaner. A/C water dripping to the room floor all night. Room too dark, more light needed. It’s not a low price lodge, would be great if the owner can invest on some improvements. Kitchen lady is nice and friendly. "

"I stayed here three nights with my family. The grounds are beautiful, the waterslide and zip line were so fun. The pool and everything outside was super amazing. We were close to many activities as well. There were enough beds for us all, six of us total. There is a kitchen and two bathrooms. Only thing to keep in mind is that there is no actual living room and no TV, which we didn't mind but didn't know really in advance. There is also a ping pong table outside which my family loved. Overall, this was a great place to stay!"

"I NEVER do any reviews. This was compelling. We had a horrible two night stay. For the entire two days, not a drop of running water!! The host said it could come anytime but he did not know when because it was a ‘water company problem’. He ‘could not do anything about it and “that’s the way it is” he said. There was a hot tub outside, that was thankfully filled. We had to use a bucket to bring water from the Tub to get the toilet flushed. The hot tub had to be connected with an extension wire with an outlet. That allowed the motor to run, but the water never heated. A bunch of electrical outlets were not working. We used the same extension cord by brining it inside the cabin to hook up the laptop etc. The non stick utensils are totally worn out of its non stick surface. "
