"Great location, right in the middle of Kyoto. You will be right across the street from the entrance to Sanjo Meitengai, which has great shops and leads you to the Nishiki Market which is less than a 10 minute walk. The heart of the Gion district is about 10 minutes away. Boulangerie is a bakery next door which has a great selection of pastries as well a great latte's to start your morning off. Kiyamachi-dori street is a couple blocks away and has many restaurants, bars to choose from. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds and cool air conditioning after a long day in the heat and humidity. The washer/dryers very convenient and worked great. We didn't get a chance to eat there or enjoy a drink at the bar, which had a cool vibe. Would definitely stay here again!!"
