I wanted a less corporate, less CBD experience of Sydney - and the Royal Randwick gave me that. The room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked to the point of refrigeration if need be. Great experience, and excellent value for money. If you want to visit the CBD, there was a tram line directly to the Cirular Quay.

Free wifi daily which helped me keep up with work back home. Plus it was located in such a great neighborhood. It was close to so many fantastic restaurants and shops and right next to several main bus stations! The bus system was easy to learn and the gas station near by had bus cards available. The cafe attached to this hotel and the one down the street are amazing for dessert and a nice coffee!

Overall, my wife, daughter, and I had a very good stay at High Cross Randwick. The room was very comfortable (we had a double bed and a single in the room) and relatively quiet even though our room faced the front street, which is fairly busy during the day. Lots of shops nearby for everyday items. There were more than enough eating establishments within a five-minute walk from the front door -- everything from fast food to "sit down" restaurants serving food from all over the world. There...

Perfect location in Sydney for my honeymoon! We received a free room upgrade and once staff learned it was out honeymoon they surprised us with a free bottle of champagne and chilled glasses right at our door. We had a beautiful view on the top floor, and the bathroom was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, with superb service (with one exception). The physical beauty of this hotel brings the beauty of the sandstone exteriors to life with interiors which are more than a match. The staff revel in all the material the hotel designers and resident historian and forager have given them to play with. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie are superb and the rooms are very large and lush. The hotel is still ramping up and keeping up the personal level of service will be a challenge but...

The property, amenities, and staff were all first-rate. Our room, a one-bedroom apartment, really, was spacious and comfortable; we made good use of the kitchen and washer/dryer in our suite and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and pool available on the premises. We took advantage of the many restaurants, shops, and services within a few minutes walk from the lobby, and made good use of the subway just a little further on for our exploration of downtown Sydney. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed at the Song Hotel while we were visiting Sydney and we loved it! It was in a great location, right near a subway station and bus stops (and a quick ride from the airport). It was also easy to walk to nearby neighborhoods that had lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, and the dinners we had at the hotel restaurant were awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend!

Location was great for all of the tourist attractions and public transit to navigate the city. Great tea in room and clean and comfortable room.
