"This place is terrific. The views are amazing and the owners are charming. Breakfast is in an ideal setting and if you’re interested in walking/hiking one has easy access to Almalfi and Minori. Locating the B&B was confusing the first time since the numbers go up and down going down the path. One should also be aware that one has to go down a lot of steps so if you have heavy bags this will be difficult."

"Best hotel have ever stayed in, a bit higher up the hill which was perfect to escape and chill by the pool. Absolutely beautiful rooms and rest of the hotel. Tizi was fantastic, so warm and welcoming with a great sense of humour too. Definitely stay here!"

"We have just arrived home from an amazing stay in Praiano. We stayed in La Barbera B & B. We having nothing but positive words to say about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were met by two wonderful staff members. Sylvia was a delight. So very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable about the area and offered great advice and recommendations. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing views over the coastline. "Beautiful stay at La Divina, spacious room, and easy to reach. Great location, stunning views, and the owner prepared us breakfast in the morning. She is very welcoming, and very helpful she recommended a great restaurant and made reservations for us she was great. Our room was ready early. The hotel is very clean, very nicely decorated and a beautiful patio overlooking the coast and close to restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back on our next trip to Italy. "Really enjoyed the stay including the sumptuous breakfast, only drawback was the option for dinner at Hotel Pascal. Not impressed with the menu and food at all."
"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you.
The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat!
The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal.
We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC.
Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists.
Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
"Communication with the hotel was excellent. Always responded promptly. On arrival we were adviced to get the ferry from the Salerno station as an alternative to their private transfers. It was really easy to book and travel on the ferry, just ensure you have atleast 20 minutes between arriving to Salerno and the ferry departure timing. Staff at the hotel are very helpful. I want to especially give a shout out to Rebecca at reception, and Nicholas in the restaurant and also the shuttle drivers. We really loved the hotel but only had 2 nights there so did not use the swimming pool. It did look lovely but we never had time to swim. The breakfast had a good spread."
"A fantastic experience all around. The most gorgeous property, expansive views, and fantastic staff. The restaurants on site were the best food we had out of all of the stops we made, with the casual grill restaurant being our favorite, but of course the fine dining restaurant was amazing as well. It was hard to leave!"
"The hotel and amenities were amazing, food and drinks delicious, the location is perfect and the staff could not have been more professional, helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s fabulous!"
"Hotel was a little past its best, felt like it needed some tlc. The pool area was not very accessible. Breakfast was average. Staff were ok but not great. Views from the hotel were exceptional though."
"Like: Very helpful staff, family-friendly, Great location, family suite was spotless and updated
Could use improvement:
- Suite with terrace we stayed in 1st 5 nights: A/C did not work, Pillows were too flat very hard to sleep on"
