"Excelent location. Walking distance to visitor center and downtown. Nice and spacious room and bathroom. Amazing views. Female Elk and baby walked through the property while we were admiring the beautiful pond, full of geese, ducks and ducklings, on the property. It was amazing to witness the wildlife of the area so close."

"We loved everything about our stay at Crags. It is definitely an old, historic inn and the owners have kept it's original charm. You wouldn't love it if you need fancy and new, but the history and the old charm and warmth of this place was exactly what what we loved about it. It just feels good to be there. The rooms and furniture are older but super clean and the beds are comfy. As hikers, we appreciated having a kitchen and a living room space. The dining room is beautiful withthe original floor-to-ceiling windows and offers light continental breakfast. Lots of games, a piano, pool table, and fireplace. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful and perfectly situated to watch the sunset and maybe catch an elk walking by. Outdoors there's a fire pit, giant Jenga and corn hole. Plenty to enjoy there. The staff was lovely and helpful in every way. Great location up the hill overlooking Estes Park with an easy drive to RMNP. We look forward to going back!"

"Rooms look a little dated and we had an issue with the hairdryer which didn’t seem to get resolved. Great location for walking into Estes Park and getting to RMNP. Restaurant on site but we didn’t use it. I would not rate this accommodation as 4* although we did enjoy our stay. We did have an issue with room charges (credit card charged despite us prepaying ) and this is ongoing so hope it is resolved quickly."

"The property is in an excellent location near the town and also near the national park but also located right on the Big Thompson river b. We really enjoyed all the outdoor space. The cabin was nice, plenty of space, comfortable. There is a bit of maintenance needed to windows, lights and shower fixture and perhaps some better pots and pans for cooking that are safer for use. We managed very well and enjoyed the property."

"The location of this property is excellent for exploring. Ii is right outside of the town of Estes Park (walkable for the athletic and adventurous!). Just down the street from the Tram. Incredibly convenient. It also offers quick and easy access to the Rocky Mountains (5 mins down the road).The property is marketed as a cabin (and it a a lovely cabin), though it’s worth noting for future guests that it sits right behind a small industrial area/storage unit facility. It was a bit surprising to us when we first pulled up, but once we settled in, it wasn't a big deal at all and didn't take away from our stay. Overall, it's a centrally located and comfortable base camp for exploring the area!"
