"This hotel appeared to have been fairly recently refurbished to a high standard although sound insulation between rooms could be improved. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. A la Carte hot breakfast options far exceeded our expectations and were served by attentive friendly staff. The manager, Amir, was very professional and responsive . Excellent value. "Great place for exploring Cornwall. Only a short walk into the centre of Lostwithiel.Pia and her family, including the dogs, chickens and llamas were most welcoming. Quaint and well equipped property. It was very comfortable. We loved being able to access the swimming pool."

"The cottage is in a stunning location surrounded by trees fields and beautiful gardens. The cottage was equipped with everything you could need and we were greeted with a lovely cream tea with cllotted cream. Lostwitheil is in a very central position so many costal towns and bays are only within a few minutes drive away.I am going to book another stay for a week if there is a cottage available. Pia was a perfect host very warm and friendly. I cant wait to go back and discover the area more thoroughly. The Eden Project is about 15 minutes drive away and we also enjoyed zip wire experince over the Eden domes. Such a beautiful area I recommend for quiet idyllic country holiday. For those who have problems with their legs, it is quite a walk to the village and back so I recommend going by car, but I have had 2 knee surgerys. The alpacas were also a treat to see!"
