"The Old Coach House is absolutely excellent. Our room was spacious, had everything we could want and all of a very high quality. It was warm, comfy and looked great too, with huge original wooden beams, large luxurious armchairs and tasteful decor. "This was pur first time at Swinton Park and we'll definitely be back. Our room was beautiful, the grounds are great with plenty of things to do and enjoy and the food was amazing. The best part of our stay had to be the spa though, really well-appointed with lots of attention to detail. We were both super relaxed and sleepy after just a couple of hours. "

"Lovely stay in the tree lodge, would highly recommend! Can get pretty dark though so advise to take torches for walking and also in the lodge. Plenty of candles and tea lights provided by the venue though, and the complementary s’mores kit was great! "

"I loved this hotel. It is quirky and stylish and, above all, comfortable. I had a lovely large room and to say it had a 'cathedral view' was an understatement. I couldn't see anything else - the cathedral is the other side of the road. The staff were lovely. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Plentiful restaurants are just around the corner. I will undoubtedly stay there again if I am up that way in the future."

"One night stay in May 2024. The White Horse is a pub no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ripon and the cathedral. The rooms are converted stables at the back of the pub. The decor is basic and a little tired but if you’re going to book somewhere like this then you mustn’t expect opulence. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay here again on a return trip to Ripon. "
