"The duplex was nicely set up. Much closer to the main road than we anticipated when we first booked (traffic is very loud in the mornings) other times it was pretty quiet. The walls are pretty thin though, every movement upstairs is really loud downstairs... we didn't have neighbors in the next duplex most of our stay, when we did they were pretty loud.We really liked the convenient location and proximity to the places we wanted to visit. The cabin was nicely stocked with towels and dishes... but we nearly ran out of toilet paper and did run out of trash bags. We were out doing stuff 90% of the time... so there should have been more provided, we would have run out half way through our stay if we stayed in.We don't wear shoes inside, it would be nice to have a rug inside the door, we had some rainy days and the floor gets wet and dirty with no rug to put shoes on.The host responded quickly whenever we reached out. We didn't go to the pool.... not sure where it was, not close enough to walk. Clean up was easy, just take trash out, and dishes in the dishwasher. I didn't like the upfront insurance or big payment at booking. By the time it showed up we had already decided this was where we wanted to stay... I didn't like that it wasn't noted up front. Especially booking early. Being out 1500 or whatever it was is a lot 6months in advance.We did have a great stay, this cabin is in a great location and a great value. Thanks!"

"The cabin and property was BEAUTIFUL. The views were gorgeous. We had frequent visits from bears literally from the second we drove up to the property. A mama and her 3 cubs and another larger bear. They would climb right up on the porch for a visit while we were sitting out there. It was amazing and terrifying, but we loved it. It is in a great location as far as distance from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The parking situation was a little complicated because we had 19 people and 5 different vehicles, but we made it work. My only real complaint is that the "community pool" that was advertised, is not within a short walking distance of the cabin like we were expecting. It is located a mile away at an RV park. When I was searching for a large cabin to accommodate our family, I was specifically looking for a cabin with a pool for the kiddos in our group. We were so disappointed to find out that it wasn't within walking distance of the cabin. I admittedly just assumed that the pool would just be a short leisurely stroll away from the cabin and didn't see the description of its location. So if you are looking for a gorgeous view and spacious, clean cabin - and dont really care about having a pool within walking distance- this property will be perfect for you and your large group. The property owners were quick to answer questions as well."

"We had a great stay at this cabin! It was clean, spacious, and had a great layout for our group. The kids loved having the entire lower level as their own space to hang out, while the two master suites each had their own balcony with beautiful mountain views—a feature we really enjoyed.The mountain setting was exactly what we were looking for. We loved being up on the mountain, and the huge hot tub was perfect for relaxing every evening. One of the coolest parts of the trip was having bears visit the property every day—it made the experience even more memorable.The cabin is tucked away, so you’ll have a bit of a drive to reach most attractions, but we actually preferred being away from the crowds. It’s also conveniently located near one of the entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The driveway is a little steep, but it was manageable.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d happily book it again."
