"Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room. Breakfast was appreciated. Toilet flusher valve leaked so it ran excessively. Air conditioner was louder than most. Entrances from the street are not marked, not readily visible from the street. Would be extremely helpful to have entrance signs at the driveway."

"Stayed here for the Texas State Railroad excursion. 10 minutes away. Room was clean. Water pressure was incredible. Breakfast was wonderful. Quick and easy checkin and checkout. Use the app for checkout is even better. Towels could be softer."

"What a wonderful and peaceful place this is to stay! Exactly as portrayed in the posting. Very friendly and communicative hosts (but also very willing to respect space and privacy). The accommodations were cozy, clean and comfortable (a coupe of wasps we did battle with but as should be expected with a rural locale). Their dogs have impeccable manners. If bringing a dog you might bring a tie out (to be used as you supervise of course) as we ended up having to attach leash to chairs to have a hand free to drink coffee. They do provide an outside kennel as well as crates. (We brought our own.) We’ll be back!"

"We enjoyed our time at whispering pines very much. It is a beautiful and peaceful property. The home is immaculate, and every detail thoughtfully planned. We enjoyed puzzles, games, fishing, wildlife, sunrises, sunsets, the hot tub, and quality family time. Can’t wait to go back!"
