"The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. "We had a fantastic stay at Châlet Birkhahn. The whole place is decked out beautifully with every mod con you could wish for- the kitchen is full of gadgets- from a quooker tap to sharp knives, fondue and raclette set. There is plenty of space to lounge and dine, very comfortable beds and the bonus of a big bath and sauna with a glass roof. The setting is very quiet above the village of Saas-Fee….but be warned it is a long hard walk uphill from skiing and all the amenities of the village. "
