Incomparable location. Our first morning we crossed the street to sit on a bench on the bluff above the shore, and 5 minutes later two whales suddenly surfaced right in front of us. Our room was warm, sunny, comfortable. The bathroom looked newly remodeled and was sparkly clean, but perfectly in character with such a historical house. It had a tub with jacuzzi jets plus a shower. walking distance to Cannery Row while feeling like you were in a village far from civilization. We loved it. A...

Stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The room and service were great. Location was in the middle of downtown Carmel, so everything was walking distance. The breakfast meat quiche was delicious. The bathtub had jets, which was very relaxing. The parking lot is a bit tricky to maneuver, but there is also street parking. Walls might be a bit on the thin side. Definitely heard the next-door neighbors "in the act," which may have been the only negative part of our stay.

I loved staying at this hotel for our trip. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. If you can upgrade, I recommend it. Our room fit a large, comfortable bed and had a stunning bathroom. It was PERFECT for just me and my partner. Be warned that there isn't any fridges so bring an ice chest. There is also no AC, but you don't need it with the coastal weather. We just left our windows open at night. It is very noisy since it's by the street but we weren't bothered by it at all considering...

We loved the Tally Ho Inn and will make it our preferred place to stay in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Almost all rooms have ocean views with their own decks or patios. Rooms are well-designed with good use of space and nice amenities. On-site parking a plus. Just a block from the main commercial street and a short walk down to the beach.

I was looking for a weekend get-away and this location was perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Holiday House includes a small fridge, microwave, and stove.

My wife and I stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. The occasion was our 25th wedding anniversary. The inn was delightful. We've stayed in many B&Bs - never have I felt I was somewhere where there was greater attention to detail. It is simply among the best of the best.
