Ultimate Tropical Paradise-Minutes From The Beach-Coral Bay, St. John, VI

"From the moment we stepped into Sunset Paradise, we began relaxing. On the kitchen counter, there was a gift basket with welcome items, like personalized glasses, microwave popcorn, and a bottle of rum. We are older, and experienced travelers, and have never had this happen before. Out onto the wrap around deck we went, and took in the beautiful view. It was clear enough to view St. Croix to the South on May 19th. Back inside to look at what was in the cabinets, and we found that our shopping would be reduced, especially in the expensive spice department. Everything was sparkling, well organized, and most of all, everything was working. We enjoyed feeding the little yellow birds that came to the feeder on the west side of the deck. The sunsets were enjoyed in the perfectly sized pool, just right for the two of us. We usually have a hard time leaving St. John, but leaving Sunset Paradise was even harder. We had a great ten days. Huge thank you to our hosts."

"We are a group consisting of 5 adults visiting St. John, US VI for our annual US national park trip. Horizon's Edge villa was a very comfortable place- near restaurants, beaches, and hiking trails. Deck was very nice to lounge on with great views of Coral Bay, nice breeze, and lovely place to listen to the birds chirping. Kudos to Dwight, Property Manager, who's been very responsive to our needs!The book St. John Off the Beaten Path, one of the books we found in the Villa, was very helpful. "This home was excellent. Perfect set up. Communication was excellent. This home is how it’s done as far as running a rental. Everything we needed was there, and then some. They even provided beach supplies which can really save you money on rentals. Beautiful views at every level. AC got the house nice and cool after hot days at the beach, and has high end appliances. Rent the property with excitement. When we return, we’re staying here again."

"We had an excellent stay at our St. John VRBO! The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and made for such a special trip. The location, views, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.The only minor issue was some communication regarding the pool, as it was not quite ready when we arrived. However, everything else was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely recommend this property to others visiting St. John!"

"This villa is outstanding it is exactly as advertised. The oven however was not working, Beth was able to get a toaster oven since the oven wasn’t fixed during our stay. I would definitely stay here again."

"Emily was sweet and the view is nice. I do feel that the listing is grossly misleading. The place is filthy, I do not think it has been cleaned in years. There was dust and cobwebs on everything, the dishes are dirty and the screens have holes that let bugs in. You cannot flush toilet paper or even when u pee. You have to save the toilet paper in the garbage and it sits in the heat all day. The bathroom grout has mold and the shower is not graded so you will have a lake in the bathroom when you shower (but they do put brooms in both showers so you can sweep the water into the drain as you shower). “Chefs kitchen” listed but we were told we could not use the oven (toaster oven only). Master is the only room with AC, they do offer fans but the fans have a thick layer of dirt and dust on them. No mattress just three layers of foam covered with a sheet. Furniture is just a wood couch/chairs with cheap lawn cushions, no comfortable seating anywhere. This place is so dirty that I didn’t want to use the AC in the master because I was worried because I was worried I would get legionnaires from it. I have exercise induced asthma but never had problems if not exercising. This place was so dirty that I was using my rescue inhaler constantly when there. Once I would go out for the day I was fine, only to have problems again within minutes of returning."

"The view from this villa is fantastic, and even more so at sunrise. The villa was the perfect setup for two couples and was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the use of the provided beach chairs, cooler, towels, noodles, and all the other little extras.The host Lois and David, the manager, were very responsive and provided lots of good info and a recommended sailing charter which we thoroughly enjoyed. Upon booking, I thought the location could possibly be inconvenient, but it wasn’t. There are grocery stores and some restaurants nearby and accessing hiking trails and the beautiful beaches was not a problem.We had a nice stay in Coral Bay at this villa. We had no issues and would definitely stay again."
