"Great property with the highlights being the outstanding view and the small extras that make a difference. Extras like…A great water filter that allowed us to refill water bottles to take with us daily on our beach/trail excursions.Beach chairs. Beach towels. Coolers. Beach bags. Things that make outings easier.The kitchen was also well equipped.David, the property manager, was great to deal with and eager to help with any questions or concerns that came up.Also a great location in relation to the shops and great restaurants of Coral Bay.Like most driveways and parking situations in St. John, this one is tight and a little tricky if there are guests in the other unit that is on the property (units are separate..other one was occupied during our stay and other than the car in the driveway, we would have never known anyone was even there). Just be smart when positioning your vehicle.Lastly…..It’s a great price for the quality of the villa you receive."

"We took the car ferry over to St John and spent the entire day beach hopping all around the island, we didn’t want to be those panicked families trying to get back before the last car ferry left so we looked on VRBO to find something (semi-last minute) and when I saw this, I was like YES! This will be fun! I have a family of 6 (4kids) and we arrived late that evening (it was dark) but honestly, they have everything you need. It was clean, comfortable, eclectic, and cute. The owner was super nice and showed us around and there were some locals there staying to help him build on to the property and they were super nice. I love things that show my kids other ways to do things! And this was it! These kids have stayed in Ritz Carlton’s but they will remember this! My only wish is that we got to stay enjoy it just a little longer, but we had to get back to St Thomas. But if you want a place that has everything you need, has a lot of heart and character, and will be something to remember. This is a great place to stay! I have such high hopes for them!!!"

"This served well for a group of young travelers to stay together with 2 full beds and a futon. Simple cottage with the basics that is somewhat walkable to Calabash market but otherwise need a car to get around. Driveway is super steep like many in STJ but they offer a pull off at the bottom for those that prefer not to brave it which was nice. The AC is in the bedroom so just be aware the main area doesn't get as cool, but is still comfortable and definitely needed because doors open didn't make it comfortable during the season we were there. Outside space could use sprucing up and not as much supplies provided as our other rentals on STJ, but overall it was a great value for a group to access the Coral Bay side of the island and all had a great time. Hosts were responsive on arrival and no issues throughout stay, easy checkout process."

"Great location. Excellent views and very quiet. We had a very relaxing time and would highly recommend this property to others. The pool was a hit. The place is very well outfitted with everything that you need. A cooler, beach towels and chairs for the beach.Kitchen had all the amenities that you need. We cooked in several nights and we enjoyed sitting on the deck eating dinner. Would definitely come again."

"Beautiful home, gorgeous view, exactly as described. We were there in the beginning of june and the pool was warm especially in the afternoon. There are beach chairs, coolers, and ice packs available. We did have an issue getting a phone signal but with the wifi it wasn’t a big deal for us. The road is rough but just make sure you have 4 wd and you’ll be fine. You are right by skinny legs and 10-20 minutes from all the best beaches"

"We are a group consisting of 5 adults visiting St. John, US VI for our annual US national park trip. Horizon's Edge villa was a very comfortable place- near restaurants, beaches, and hiking trails. Deck was very nice to lounge on with great views of Coral Bay, nice breeze, and lovely place to listen to the birds chirping. Kudos to Dwight, Property Manager, who's been very responsive to our needs!The book St. John Off the Beaten Path, one of the books we found in the Villa, was very helpful.
