"This is an amazing place. The bed was good, breakfast was super, the owner is wonderful.
The best thing ws the amazing decor. There are so many amazing pieces and pictures.
It is a special place"
"The Inn San Francisco is a beautiful Victorian mansion in the Mission neighborhood. The roof deck and back patio are wonderful places to relax. Marty and his family are friendly and have a wealth of knowledge about the history of the inn. We will definitely be back!"
"Clean and comfortable rooms. Common kitchen, bathrooms and showers were all clean and well stocked. Easy access to transit and walking to Castro/mission. Only downside was the intensity or drug use and human struggle taking place outside and on surrounding blocks. "
"Management accommodating my late check-in as I had travel issuesand didn't arrive until after midnight. Room and bathrooms clean. Mostly quiet and just steps away from BART, great location."

Top San Francisco Public Library Hotel Reviews
Hotel Sunrise
10/10 Excellent
"I have stayed at Hotel Sunrise on several occasions and for a hotel under $100 per night in San Francisco, it can’t be beat. The location is relatively safe and highly walkable with many bars, restaurants, cafes, food stores within a half mile radius. The 16th street BART station is a 5 mins walk away. You get your own private bathroom, which is not a given at other hotels in this price range. The room is very basic and small but importantly it is clean with daily housekeeping service, adequate clean towels and toiletries, a small microwave and fridge (again unusual for a hotel in this price range), and a little coffee machine. Staff are friendly. My only complaints are 1) the building is old with thin walls and the surrounding area can get lively at nights, so depending where your room is, or if you have loud guests next door to you, it can be a little noisy; 2) no elevator but it’s only 3 floors, still if you’re on the 3rd floor you have to lug your luggage up stairs and 3) the TV in tge room is functional and even includes HBO but unfortunately it’s not a Smart TV so you can’t use your Netflix account. Still, overall this hotel is excellent vakue for the money"
Hampton Inn San Francisco Downtown/Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"I absolutely enjoyed my stay! It’s a 10/10 for me. I was looking for something inexpensive and that had everything I needed. This was it. I felt very comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for “just right”, nothing over the top or less, stay here. The roof top and breakfast are pluses. Though I would say go at 8am for breakfast lol, for some reason it tasted better after 8am. The hotel is clean and the staffs were amazing. So helpful, starting from the door man to the front desk to room service. Shout out to Milena for all her help!
And for the environment, I’m from the NY area so seeing specs of homeless ppl here and there in union square wasn’t much of a bother, just go your way and have a fun time.
-And lastly, for those that want to know, the water pressure in the bathroom is amazing! :)
