"Door hanles loose or hanging off, screws pretruding through the thin walls, cooker ingnition not working and took all the hair off my hand, telly had little to no reception and after a long day all I wanted to do is watch the snooker and relax. There was some mold in the corners of the caravan and had a very strange smell damp smell to the place, little to no sleep over the whole weekend. I have used your site for when I work away at shows and this unit is NOT to your usuall standard at all. The...

Top Sandown Station Hotel Reviews

The Wight

8/10 Good

"Nice hotel . A little dated but adds to the charm . Good breakfast and lots of parking. Very short walk to the seafront."

Royal Esplanade Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were very friendly and talkative. Breakfast was included in the stay and was very nice. Option of cold breakfast starting at 0730, with the hot breakfast menu becoming available at 0800. The room we had was cozy with a decent sized bed. Complimentary biscuits on the table, with the option of tea/coffee and hot chocolate. Clean bathroom."

Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park

8/10 Good

"The rooms were bigger than I expected, apart from the bathroom mirror light not working and the basin tap in the bathroom dripping I couldn’t fault the place. I was on a working “holiday “ so didn’t get the chance to use any of the site amenities but they all looked very inviting and other people seemed to enjoy them selfs very much."

The Fig Tree Shanklin

8/10 Good

"As a base for exploring the island The Fig Tree was a good choice. The staff were pleasant ,the room clean and comfortable, without being large. Continental Breakfast choice was adequate without having the range of a larger property, and the cooked breakfasts were good. The esplanade and a friendly pub, serving a small range of good food options on 3 nights per week were within easy walking distance,"

The Q Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."
