One small downside: a few guests took towels and blankets, which was disheartening, especially for a family-run place that puts so much care into every detail. Breakfast was a highlight. As someone who’s gluten- and lactose-free, I was impressed by how easily and kindly the staff accommodated me—and the food was delicious. My room was spotless, the shower worked perfectly, and I appreciated the personal touch of the animal-loving owners. I’d absolutely return. "We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the room my husband has COPD so we couldnt go back out for food as he knew he couldnt manage those stairs again - we were offered a different room lower down the building if we wanted to pay the extra bedside lamp was falling off the wall it smelled really musty the bed linen was white so could see it was clean but overall I wish I had booked somewhere else - overall the building needs updating ripped carpets need replacing etc "
