Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Stayed one night after a long drive through France and a ferry crossing, just to break up the journey. Arrived with tired kids and weary parents. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, the room was a good size and with good amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, very impressed indeed. Far exceeded my expectations. The reception staff was all amazing, very friendly and very helpful, night staff helped with any queries I had through the night also! Room was lovely, king size bed was great, sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but can’t really moan for a sofa bed, lovely sized bathroom and great lighting in both rooms! Pool and steam room was also lovely and clean with once again friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely recommend and if I go back to the same area I would definitely stay again! :)

Lovely stay all around!

The staff her could not be more welcoming and come across as genuinely invested in your stay. The place can get a bit overwhelmed when a large event like the wedding fills bar and breakfast to the brim, but relaxed attitude and willingness to take it in stride get you a long way to not minding. There are inevitably some compromises to make when staying in an old property - and when I say old, I don’t mean 1970s and tired, but rather 12th century and historic. A bit shocked they only have one left handed rental golf set and won’t let two lefty players share one set. Hmmm. Otherwise, amazing place! Great sausage rolls on the course!
