"This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!"

"We had a wonderful visit to this sweet little cottage. The property was beautiful and the hosts supplied kayaks, a paddle boat and a pontoon boat for an extra charge. We had plenty of comfortable chairs for visiting family. The inside was extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And, most of all the hosts were gracious, attentive to our needs and just great folks all around. I highly recommend staying here. We loved it!!!"

"We had a very pleasant week on North Lake. Everything was great. Lovely property, great hosts and a beautiful lake (sandy bottom and easy to swim). Although the property is advertised for 4 guests I think it would be ideal for 2 adults and 2 young children. Be sure you are ready for some very steep steps because to get into the cottage you have to walk down 2 sets of stairs and carry all your belongings. Overall, totally worth it!! We'd go back in a minute;-) Thank you Laurie and Dave!!"

"Our family really enjoyed staying here. The property is lake front, perfect 3 ft sandy depth for kids to play all day long. Kids really enjoyed kayaking while the dads enjoyed the aluminum fishing boat. Property is clean with all the amentities needed. The owner is super friendly and is only a call away if needed. I would recommend to all families looking for that upnorth feel without the long drive. We have rented through vrbo for close to 10 years and this is the best one we have been to yet!...
