"Had a wonderful one night stay for a special occasion. Our primary reason for visiting was the spa and it did not disappoint. We used it the afternoon of arrival and the following morning before breakfast. It was lovely in the cold and we hope to experience it in warmer weather too. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was very pleasant. Breakfast selection and quality was excellent. Only some minor feedback: I had a cocktail in the State Room and it was fantastic, and when ordering the same drink in Bar 1745, it was very average. We were also charged for the wrong whisky (at a higher price) but this was changed at checkout without hassle. I’d really like it if the pizzas in Charlie’s were available year round!"

"Not luxurious but full value for money. Single room had a decent bit of space. It was clean and had all I needed for an overnight stay. Nice hot shower and grand view of the Eildons. Reception staff were friendly and explained the process for late night hotel access very clearly. Would definitely use again."
