"The room and breakfast were perfectly adequate for myself and friend who were doing the Borders Abbeys Way walk. Unfortunately, we stayed on one of the nights when an evening meal was not available. Despite being given various options it was impossible, at short notice, to book into anywhere else that offered a meal in Selkirk.
