10/10 Excellent

"Very comfortable lodge high up on a hillside, nice and quiet and not overlooked by others. Nice walks around the farm, wild life to be seen as well as the residential animals. Not far from Edinburgh or Dunbar (llworthwhile)"

5 Star Award Winning House - The Capercaillie - sleeps 10 with Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"My friends and I had the best stay at the Capercaillie. The house was beautiful and very clean, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The land the house was on was beautiful with lots to do/see. We felt the customer service was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again for a relaxing holiday!"

5 Star Award Winning -The Lamont Your Luxury Getaway with Hot Tub near Edinburgh

10/10 Excellent

"Well into double figures staying here, the peace and quiet is unequalled. Everything you need is here. The views are just perfect and the hot tub provides the ultimate relaxing place to finish a relaxing day lazing in the sun. Or you could go for walks around the farm and meet he animals."

Luxury Tiny Home sleeps 2 with Hot Tub and private BBQ hut

10/10 Excellent

"Our third visit to the Rowan Pod. We love the privacy the space around each lproperty gives. The pod is warm, well equipped and clean but obviously it’s not spacious. BBQ fuel is provided for the separate little “Hobbit” hut and a large fridge, microwave and games are stored in the extra shed. Hot tub under the sun or the stars is fabulous. Wild life and rare breed animals are plentiful and the table tennis addition is inspirational. Ready meals, eggs , honey and basics are available from the honesty box shop. A very special place."

The Buchanan - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with hot tub - 5 star award winning lodges

10/10 Excellent

"Just had another fabulous stay with 3 friends at the Buchanan. We had a few visits before Covid, then after a break, we decided to visit again. Thank you Carol and family for the lovely welcome back. The Buchanan is a beautiful property in a stunning location with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside especially from the hot tub. The house is well equipped, quality bed linens and towels etc and the beds are like sleeping on marshmallows. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Don’t forget to bring a bag or 2 of carrots and apples for the cute donkeys, sheep, pigs, alpacas, Shetland ponies and goats. If you’re looking for somewhere nearby for lunch or dinner, the Black Bull in Lauder is really nice. Sorry we can’t recommend anywhere else as once we’ve arrived at the Buchanan, we don’t go anywhere as we love to just chill and laugh, eat and drink and play games. Bananagrams and Yahtzee were great fun"
