But, we were particularly and pleasantly surprised to find our VRBO accommodations at the Hope Scott Wing to be excellent! The house is both comfortable and impressive. "We were a bit unlucky with the weather especially having the dog in such a lovely house but access from the back of the house overcame this. It was very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised with a welcome pack. The views were lovely and it was a very easy walk into Melrose across the bridge from Gattonside - not so easy walking back though. Also an easy drive into Galashiels. Would definitely like to visit again."
