"Loved it. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing fancy, just a really neat little camping area where you can relax and drive to Bar Harbor or Bangor for the day. Absolutely loved the stay. Quiet.. I mean quiet and the stars are amazing at night. "

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet. "We had a fantastic time at the cabin. It had everything we needed. Despite a little rainy weather, we made memories on the lake, went on a few adventures and spent quality time together playing board games and watching movies. "The house was perfect for our group. Very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, however, we were quite disappointed with the waterfront. The pictures are very misleading. There was so much grass and weeds in the water, you could not swim there. Otherwise, it was very quiet and relaxing. "
