"Wonderful stay at Serenity Inn. Checkin was quick and easy and we were able to check in early which was great. The woman who checked us in was super friendly. She escorted us to our room and showed us how everything worked -- remotes for TV, Netflix, door code AC, etc. I appreciated this since it takes forever to figure out new remotes when rooms have 3 or 4 on the table unlabeled. "Lovely stay at Yankee Peddler for two nights while we visited Newport. Easy check-in, cute rooms, front desk were very helpful in resolving our heating issue and on-hand to answer any questions we had. Continental breakfast was standard with cereal options, muffins/pastry, oatmeal and fruit (I'm there for the fruit) and available for a good duration. "The Wedding Cake House was a unique and beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and had lovely tile work around the mirror and in the shower.The dining room was elegant and you could choose to have a continental breakfast by filling out a form with your food choices. It was about a 5 to 10 minute drive to College Hill where we spent a lot of time visiting Brown University and RISD. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Providence.
