The hotel charged ₹100 to verify my card, which is apparently a standard procedure. However, since I was unaware of this, my bank flagged it as suspicious and blocked my card for safety. While this was not really the hotel’s fault, a clear explanation of the process during booking would have helped avoid the confusion. Other than that minor hiccup, everything else was perfect.
