"The location was great. The view of Seneca lake through the room was breathtaking. The room was clean. The staff was courteous. There was ample parking. Only the hardware in bathtub was little rusty ."

"Nice clean bed and room, a little dated. Latch on door was broken, I put the chair against the door. deadbolt to other room did not close all the way. Large comfortable room. Simple toiletries but great for what I needed. AC needed to be turned down to work but eventually did get comfortable. Great for the price and for what I needed."

"The hotel is located between the Women's Rights National Museum and Auburn where the Harriet Tubman Home is located. Great place to stay when traveling to the National Parks monuments and Museums. You also are located close to several recommended restaurants and pubs, including a restaurant on the premises. Starting with the parking, it was ample and off road. The front desk staff was welcoming. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed to breakfast with hot and cold choices. Our biggest "Thank You" is to the manager, Victor N. We lost a key fob for our car. Victor called as soon as it was turned in and went out of his way to expedite mailing it to us. We would definitely recommend The Lux again."

"I reserved this VRBO stay for my friend's bachelorette, and we all had a great time! The property is huge and perfect for a summer stay. We had a lovely time playing giant Jenga and watching movies in the "man cave" house, while we enjoyed meals in the main house (which had two kitchens and several rooms and beds), and we also loved the fire pit outdoors and easy access to the lake. The host Chris was very quick to get back to me on questions I had, and clean up didn't take too long. The view of the lake was definitely the highlight for me, and it's off of a main road, so it was easy enough to find! I will just note that if you are someone who doesn't like bugs (namely spiders), there are quite a lot of spiders outside the house / around the property. We just brushed away spider webs with a broom and then rinsed the area near the fire pit with a hose, and that was enough for us!"
