"When I first called the 1-800 number for Microtel, the person was not very helpful at all. I then booked a room thru Expedia for a much better rate. I did call the MicroTel I had reservations at to confirm my room. The person who answered was very helful and reassuring that I did have a room booked at the Expedia rate. Upon my arrival to the hotel, the staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean and efficient. The pool and exercise room looked clean. I don't know if this is everywhere but no maid service. We stayed 2 night and nobody cleaned the room, bathroom or made the bed. Other than that, I would not hesitate to return."

"This was our second time staying at the Gould Hotel in Seneca Falls. The hotel has the funky, historical vibe we enjoy. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We were there for three nights and there wasn't any housekeeping during our stay. We had to text the front desk staff to a personal number to alert them we needed service. The restaurant/bar area was not operating at the time of our stay. It is a great location if you are interested in the Women's Rights Convention historical site."

"Everything was provided that one could possibly need and then some on the room. The grounds are impeccable with the most beautiful gardens. The lake view was beautiful and so relaxing from the front yard or from our own balcony. The employees were so pleasant and accommodating. Restaurants were lovely with delicious food. I will definitely return."

"We like the villa we stayed in! It was clean and a nice relaxing space. However, the house next door was having a very loud party that lasted well into the late evening hours. They were playing loud music and driving some type of loud ATV back and forth for hours, well into the late evening. It made it unenjoyable to sit outside."
