"My friend and I had a good week of kicking back, enjoying the lake, and unplugging! The huge flight of steps to get to house from the parking lot would've been super inconvenient if we had small kids or lots of stuff, but the cable-car system the owners came up with to ferry things down to the house definitely helps a ton. Just be ready to take your sweet time when unpacking/packing up.It's really odd not having an internal staircase between the two floors of the house. If you're looking for a way to sequester the kids or give each family their own separate space, this place is awesome. Otherwise, the setup makes people downstairs feel very "disconnected" from those upstairs. It's not a deal-breaker, but something you wouldn't encounter at most properties (a theme for this place).The water at the house is fed directly from the lake, and while the owners make it sound as though it's technically potable, they emphasize that they don't drink it - meaning you need to bring your own, but also they have a 5 gal water cooler by the kitchen. I would've expected a property at this price point to have drinkable water on-tap.Otherwise, the owners provide a lot of toys/accessories to enjoy the house and the lake with, you won't be bored - unless you want to be!"
