José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!"
"We liked the property and will return. A few things looked like they needed attention: for example, the carpet in our room needed to be stretched. The light outside our door was too dim (room 24)"
"Jack was fantastic! We had booked a restaurant and ask Jack what he thought and he advised another that was awesome. The second night as well. The beds were super comfortable. We were worried about not having ac, but that was not a problem at all. Loved our stay!"
"Beautiful little oasis in the pines only minutes from beach. Cabins are big and comfortable and have a little tiny porches that are small but nice. We love staying here. The pool and hot tub area is big with plenty of seating and open til 10pm. "

"This is absolutely a beautiful place to stay, they have a breakfast in the morning which was awesome, an area to sit by an outside fire pits, kids play area. Each room had its own wood burning fireplace but the best part are just across the street, you are overlooking the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean through the beautiful cypress trees. "
