"Hotel and scenery is awesome. Hotel staff is a little overworked but super friendly. Front desk had some trouble with getting us checked in, fixing WiFi (was not fixed but they gave us a discount), or advising where the walking trails were. But they tried and were super friendly. All in all a great stay - just wish the walking trails were better or there was something to for someone who doesn’t golf."

"Absolutely zero complaints! Not only did this little cabin have everything we needed, it's also SO BEAUTIFUL!! The story of its creation is wonderful. You can see just how much love was put into the structure and decor. Another great thing about this cabin is how far away from external distractions it is. It's secluded, private, and surrounded by the wonderful Texas Hill Country, perfect for those seeking a nice getaway from loud city noise. And it does all this without sacrificing luxuries like wifi and a smart TV, which we appreciated! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future. I cannot recommend this property enough."

"Late booking for a single night, so I am very thankful the cottage was available. We were coming from a wedding in Sisterdale so arrived late - around midnight. First issue was the inconsiderate guest in the Tesla who took up two parking spaces leaving us nowhere to park without blocking everyone but in the driveway. Second issue is there is a lack of signage and a visible path or walkway to the cottages. The landscaping while very lush in the daylight is too overgrown and made it difficult to find our way to the front door of the cottage. Once inside all was fine, except pillows on the bed are too firm and uncomfortable. Interesting place out of a Grimm's fairy tale, if you are looking for something off the beaten path with an abundance of German-inspired decor this is the place."
