We stayed at this hotel for 18 nights. The neighborhood is iffy but the hotel is top notch and you can really see that the owners , managers and staff really care about their place . Rosas at Park is their In-house restaurant and everything we ate there was delicious. We loved the spinach salad with filet mignon and had it multiple times. It’s top-tier, once you get inside!

Excellent breakfast with many hot and cold options. Large dining area and staff kept buffet area very clean, fresh and filled. Excellent location near many sites including Central Park. Will stay here again.

Convenient location; pleasant staff. Confused about cost of breakfast. Thought it was included, but was charged a large amount for the meals.

Great spot for a first time trip to NYC, was close to everything and the hotel was amazing from top to bottom. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Great location and the staff were very friendly. There are so many things within a walkable area. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is some construction inside going on, but it was never an issue. The rooms are very quiet and you can barely hear the street noise. The rooms are smaller, but that is New York. It was a good size to relax after a long day of exploring and get ready for the day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The area was very safe. I would definitely stay again....

Hotel was conveniently located in midtown manhattan and close to many attractions. It was also close to a subway station which was great for our first time navigating the subway. Close to many food options as well

This was one of the few times that we got to our room before housekeeping was done. The smell of Clorox was affirming in that I felt like the bathroom was REALLY sanitized before we got in! IT. FELT. CLEAN!!! And housekeeping was not one person doing everything; it was a team of cleaners going over the room! OUTSTANDING!!! Wonderful desk staff, too! Great location; convenient to the Javitz center. Walkable to everything else in the city (MTA, mid-town, etc.). And it was QUIET! ...

We have been to New York City many many times over the years. This hotel was our very favorite overall. We stayed at fancier ones. We’ve stayed at National chains. The personal care and attention you get from everyone at Hotel Scherman has been unsurpassed. While my husband would have preferred bacon and eggs biscuits and gravy for breakfast, the kids and I were very happy with the complementary continental breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation, but understand it's NYC and parking isn't always convenient.

Perfect stay! Room was large, especially for NY standards. Bed super comfy, curtains blocked light and room was very quiet. Amenities were awesome and we were able to check in early and store our luggage with no problem at the end. Warwick still has it!

Travel to NY often. The Arlo always is a great stay. Clean, smells amazing, good vibes, friendly/stylish staff, great decor, reasonably priced. Just do it. Stay here. Perfect for solo travel.

Breakfast was yummy and different every day- it was busy, but the staff did an excellent job of keeping food stocked and the area cleaned up. Even though it was crowded, we never had to wait long for anything. The room and hotel were clean and beds were comfy. We really liked the fridge and microwave in the hotel- it was really nice for heating up some late night leftovers. There was also a water and ice machine on our floor, which was very helpful.

This was an amazing place to stay. EVERYONE is friendly. The room is clean. The bed is huge and comfortable. The air gets so cold. The rooftop bar has BEAUTIFUL views of the city. The location is perfect. You're so close to EVERYTHING! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. The atmosphere is so chill.
