"The property itself was great. The breakfast was an additional cost and not very good, so I'd recommend to anyone staying to walk to a local coffee shop for breakfast. We had a fire drill at 11pm our first night there. Certainly a pain if you are in the middle of a shower, sleeping, or anything else."

"The Hoxton in Southwark is a stylish and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, ideal for a city break or business stay. The aptly named Snug room is compact but cleverly designed, offering everything you need with a sleek aesthetic and a lovely bathroom to match. Service throughout is excellent, with friendly staff and flexible room cleaning on request. The breakfast menu is a real highlight - varied, tasty and well-priced, adding to the hotel’s overall great value. The only downside was the overly soft pillows, but that’s a small quibble in an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Quick overnight city break in Blackheath. Very pleasant location and general surroundings of Blackheath Village. Although the room could perhaps have benefited from a little bit of a refresh, it had a generously-sized and very comfortable bed. Small bathroom which was fine. Very good buffet breakfast. Room didn't have one of the prime views over the heath, but that wasn't a problem as it was nice and quiet where I was. Only minor fault was that the wifi wasn't particularly strong in my room and the connection dropped on a number of occasions. I tended to use my data instead. Would definitely stay here again, no debate."
