Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Great breakfast buffet

Everything was great except parking.

My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.

Only parking was valet, reasonably priced if purchased at time of hotel stay

Beautiful hotel, comfortable and welcoming! Only issue was they broke my back window parking around the corner, so in hindsight the 70$ valet parking would of been cheaper then what I payed for the broken window, don’t leave anything viewable from the outside of the car, because these thieves aren’t playing in San Francisco

When we arrived in the afternoon, we were told that the power was out and they had no time estimate for PG&E to repair the problem. It was specific to the hotel. They offered alternative accommodations at nearby affiliated hotels (Marquis & St Francis) at great prices, but we decided to stay at least until we had attended an event wiith friends. Great service

Gorgeous hotel in downtown San Francisco. Clean, front staff was courteous, efficient and friendly. Location is close to a lot of great destinations around downtown. One small gripe is the staff in the bar lounge area were definitely waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Got very nasty very quick for no reason, they apologized later, after i continued to be friendly, but it was too late - whatever, didn't take away from the hotel overall, definitely worth it.

This is one of the places we stay in San Francisco. We come at Christmas and take an Uber to listen to the incredible music at Grace Cathedral, and the next morning walk across the street to see whatever is playing on IMAX. If you are visiting SF without a car, this is a great hotel. You can walk within 5 min. to the following: muni subway, main bus terminal to gg bridge and Marin/Sonoma county, to BART, ferry terminal, cable cars to Chinatown, classic rail cars to fisherman’s warf, hop on hop off busses, cruise terminal. I went to this property to attend a concernt and take my son to the city as he has never been. The hotel had so many cool things such as their amazing gym, it had a peloton, beautiful gym equipment and weights. The gaming area was super cool too, including a giant plinko we played, pool, ping pong, and other games. Their ice machine was freaking rad.
