Find Beach Hotels in Southeast Texas, TX

Only thing I didn’t like was the 15 dollar a day parking fee. ☹️.

The staff and stay at GM, was amazing. The apartment was quaint and cute and had everything we needed. I can’t say enough about James. He’s a historian and knows everything TX and more… from carrying our bags, picking us up from the airport, taking us to the ship and will pick us up again and take us to the airport. Thank you James!! Valerie made our arrangements for driver services and explained accommodations, which was great! Rosie is like 5 people in 1. She’s housekeeping, waitress,...

Two minutes from the beach and two minutes from the Strand. This beautiful old house has an amazing outdoor seating area that is very romantic and comfortable. We enjoyed the company and the food is amazing. The rooms are all very authentic and the beds are very comfortable. I've stayed here before and I will stay here again!

Beautiful room. Great location to pier. Loved having paid parking close to pier.

We stayed the night before a cruise and the port was literally within walking distance making it super convenient. Property is beautiful and unique. We would definitely stay again!

The mansion itself was beautiful but the staff was phenomenal! Rick was amazing from the moment we booked our stay. In fact he personally called me a week or so before we came to tell me my card on file with Expedia didn’t seem to go through. When I offered to give him my new one he said it wasn’t necessary and just looked forward to meeting us! I was so grateful he called and I didn’t lose my reservation. We got messages with directions and what to expect with details about complimentary...

I used to live in La Porte, worked in La Porte for 42 years, and retired from La Porte PD in 2016. Now I've moved to deep NE Texas, but have to travel back to La Porte for family functions and football games. This property is the best in town. Always clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We will always stay at this property when we are in town. You should too!

Amazing property. So unique and beautiful. There think of everything beach chairs, food, drinks pool. For someone traveling to Galveston from out of town they had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend

Great location , amazing rooftop bar/grill venue. Ac units had difficulty controlling the humidity and had a musty smell.

The property was very nice. I was a little disturbed to hear the manager come out to the pool to tell the veteran that no dogs allowed in the pool. I looked at the rules posted at the pool and it was not notated there. I also thought the manager would have come to the person and have a reasonable conversation, but he did not. He just yelled it and walked away. The dog was actually a service dog for a military vet who served our country. The great thing is that the vet was compliant and...

The room and balcony was great along with staff.

This is one of my favorite places to stay for a quick getaway!

This was our first visit to this hotel in the Galveston area. We come for dickens on the strand each year. We love the proximity to the beach and some other nearby attractions. The front desk staff was often unavailable or scarce. The breakfast was wonderful. The facility is very nice. There is also posted ours on the door of the bar, but when we inquired, they said the bar was closed until a later time.

Beautiful property with amazing views for a nice relaxing getaway
