(46 miles south of LV) We chose The Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort because it wasn’t on the LV Strip, though had a convenient shuttle to & from there, non-smoking, no resort fee & had excellent reviews! This hotel is nice with many restaurants, big typical casino. It is located at the end of the strip but still walking distance to the main areas. The best thing about New York, New York is that it's cheap! We stayed in a spa suite with a jacuzzi (didn't use it). The room smelled like pot (a lot!), I let the front desk know so I wouldn't be blamed. They immediately offered to move us which we declined, we were all settled in.
