"The hotel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful. My gripe was with the shower in our room. The water wouldn’t drain quickly so if you showered more then a minute the bathroom would flood. There was no tub just a small glass wall between the shower and the toilet and sink. I asked the staff the first morning we were there to send maintenance to unclog the drain and the woman told me she put in a work order. She said someone would come sort it out that day which was fine since we were out all day. Needless to say nothing changed and the bathroom still flooded. I don’t want to give the hotel too low of a rating since everything else was great but the shower situation really annoyed me."

"Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, the receptionist kindly offered my partner and me a complimentary drink at the bar to celebrate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. Throughout our stay, the doormen and lobby staff were consistently polite, always offering help and wishing us a great day. On the day of checkout, the gentleman at reception also extended our checkout time, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel—everything was perfect from start to finish."

"We thought the room was a great size for the area/price point. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was great for prepping some breakfast and making tea. The added milk in the fridge was a nice touch! We got in quite late, but the check-in was quick and easy. Our room was very quiet and we loved the blackout curtains so we could sleep in after a long journey. The filtered water in the common area was appreciated also. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The location is perfect to walk to many attractions like Borough Market, the Tower of London, and Tower Bridge. We took the Uber Boat (1 minute walk from the hotel) to reach more central areas like Covent Garden and Soho. We were also only a 8 minute walk from the tube to get back to the airport. We would definitely stay here again if we return to London."

"Superb hotel. Fantastic location for tube, embankment, tate modern, St Paul’s cathedral. Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Extremely clean throughout hotel and room and fantastic rooms with all the extras even in a standard room. Cocktail bar and a four hour happy hour is great. Lovely decor and well worth a visit and great prices. Rooftop terrace dining is a must. Great food, good vegetarian selection, lovely views of shard. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Highly recommend "
