Front desk was wonderful, we were there for a wedding and my spouse already left since they were in the wedding - I needed help zipping up my dress and they were so helpful and sweet. "Italian hospitality at its best - caring, friendly and professional staff, especially helpful was siñor Franchesco who explained everything to us in a very clear way and took good care of us during our 7 day stay
Of course for those few people like us who rented a car and drove into Florence it was a nightmare to drive through busy crowded narrow medieval streets to get to the hotel but they have an option to park your car in the nearby garage and bring it on demand
Room was cozy, historic and clean ; service at the restaurant was good, so was the breakfast buffet - it would be better if breakfast extended to 11 am instead of finishing at 10:30 for those like us who aren’t early risers / overall staying at Helvetia Bristol was wonderful as was staying in Florence for the entire week/ would definitely recommend!"
