Hotel Santa Maria Novella

"We spent one night in Florence and found this superb hotel. Located a 5 min walk from the train and right in the centre of the Piazza Novalla. The hotel felt very grand, with the room made for royalty. This was a treat for our trip. The hotel bar was a great place to grab drinks and relax. Restaurants are just a stones throw away. Would highly recommend staying here."

"Good hotel next to termini station. It is not 4 star hotel . Probably 3 star. Funny that they ask deposit of €50 for iron what they bring to your room. So cheep.."

"Right across the street from the train station which is very handy but also can get loud. Still walkable to most places you’d like to go. Check in area was busy, but fortunately my room was ready so I didn’t have to wait to go explore the city. My room was nicely appointed and I had a city view. Elevators are tiny which is not unusual in Italy. Lovely bar with happy hour which I didn’t actually get to because I was sightseeing but I really liked the looks of the bar"

"I would say this is a 3.5 star property. The room was clean but basic, same for the bathroom and amenities like soap etc. the location is very central but the room was still quiet. There is no concierge and the staff was not able to make any reservations for us."
