"We enjoyed our stay at Alma lodge hotel, staff were polite and friendly .the room was spacious and spotless and tea and coffee facilities were in the room. The bed was fairly comfortable but a bit on the small side for my 6ft 2 husband. The only downside was after travelling for several hours to get there ,checking in at 3pm we were informed the restaurant was closed and we were unable to have any food even though afternoon tea and sandwiches was advertised. "everything seemed great on check in however when we got to our room there was no hot or cold water (which was not great as I needed to have a shower, get ready for a party!) When I an down to reception I was told the water to the whole hotel was cut off. I would expect to have been told this on check in and at least offered drinking water."
