"Property is ideally located on Bute. Beautiful views from the front porch. People tend to sit out there and smoke so not too relaxing if you want to breathe fresh air. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food was typical of Scotland. The hotel is very old is it is what was expected of a hotel of that age."

"We've stayed a few times and never been disappointed. Its a comfy home from home. Gordon is fantastic, lots of communication and responds quickly. Never hsd a aroblems. Highly recommend for convenience, easy drives to beaches with digs, take awats"

"Beautiful location, you could walk down the back garden and paddle in the Firth. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Great dining table - we started playing Scrabble again! Very welcoming, and all the wild blackberries you can eat! Patrick was very accommodating. It is a lovely house."

"Lovely location, room enough for 2 people and had everything we needed. Sitting onside looking over the waters to Bute was very peaceful, had a very relaxing week. Hosts were available if needed but did not intrude. Only suggestion would be to swop out tv for a freely Internet TV as Internet very good on the premises and existing TV not good for reliableconsistent reception got no signal quite often in the evenings."
