"The front desk staff at night and during the day upon checkout were incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. Our original hotel was oversold and the front desk staff at that “unnamed” hotel just a few blocks away were awful and rude. It was a welcoming experience to come to this hotel and be greeted pleasantly and with a warm smile. Really appreciative of this after what was a long day of travel and confusion. Thank you, and I’d have no hesitation of recommending this hotel to my friends."

"I recently spent a night at the Sheraton Chicago River Walk, and the highlight was undoubtedly the river view room — absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sweeping views of the Chicago River made the stay truly memorable and worth every penny. The room itself complemented the view beautifully, making for a relaxing and scenic overnight experience. My only gripe was the destination fee tacked on at check-in. While these fees are becoming more common at city hotels, it caught me off guard, Overall, a fantastic one-night getaway — especially if you snag a river view room. Just go in knowing about the destination fee so it doesn’t dampen the excitement of an otherwise wonderful stay."

"They had one parking lot attendant many times with 20 to 30 people waiting on cars to be delivered. Sofa had body fluid on it. It was filthy, the mattress was disgustingly lumpy bad and old. Terrible service at breakfast incompetent waiters and waitresses. I will never stay at that location again and I’m questioning Hilton from this point on."

"Front desk staff was not the friendliest. But sadly, these days I think that’s the new norm with anyone 35 and younger. Room was okay. The music they have streaming in the hotel lobby is obnoxious. Would love to know who would enjoy that type of music especially considering I saw several people in wheelchairs that were probably staying in the hotel because of the close proximity to the hospital. This is not a party hotel. Much of the clientele is people who have to stay for days while a loved one is treated at the hospital, so one would think they would play something more low-key or just kind of subdued, but it literally made me feel stressed. Bed sheets appeared to be clean as well as the bathroom. The kitchen faucet was very loose at the base. I can’t believe that housekeeping hasn’t brought that to the attention of those that matter. I do think, even though Chicago is expensive, that this hotel is highly overpriced. The major con is the 4 PM check-in. They would not let me check in even five minutes prior to 4 PM- so I ate my late lunch in the hotel lobby on a dirty metal table while I waited. Yay."
