"The Kerry Hotel is an absolute fantastic place to stay in HongKong. The price for the “fantastic-ness” of this place is also good. I mean, I thought it would be expensive but they actually offer good rates. Very clean, very pleasant, staff is top notch professionals and very intentional in their assigned work. Rooms are spacious. Luxury that meets reasonableness in terms of price. Location is by the harbor, there are ferries outside the hotel. However, hotel is far from popular malls and usual destinations; so prepare to walk around 6 to 8 minutes to the MTR or travel a bit to reach touristy places. Perfect for company conventions, receptions. Relaxed pace of vacation, because it is not crowded. It is comfortable and spacious."

"The condition of the property was poor - not just dated but also not well maintained. Room amenities are basic, carpets ware stained/worn and the toilet did not flush well (toilet paper would go down). Wasn’t expecting that condition for the hotel rating or for the price paid. I moved out the same night I checked in. On checking out, staff at front desk noticed that we had just checked in but did not bother to enquire the reason for leaving the same night. This is a different experience from other reviews that mention staff were extremely helpful. Staff are not rude - just indifferent. Earlier engagement with reservation staff was extremely poor - making enquiries to confirm I would have a twin room (for non-couple, adult guests, needing separate beds) was consistently met with unhelpful blunt responses that it would not be confirmed until check in - from the start I didn’t feel welcome. This room was booked around Nov 25 for a stay in May ‘26. No other hotel I’ve booked has ever responded in that manner. Travelling with an elderly parent and family, this hotel was not the last experience I wished for them remember, and hence had to move hotels. The location is very good; popular with tour groups, and could suit anyone seeking a 3-star hotel. Other rooms may have been better than the ones I booked. The photos on Expedia seem older and not reflective of the current condition for the rooms I selected."

"The environment of the hotel was good and convenient location to get to. Hotel bed a bit dusty when placing the pillow bed before going to sleep you can saw some particles dust with some light on. Curtain is definitely an issue if you wanted to sleep later than 7am as the curtain was almost see through so was the light going through. Service was good on the staff and helpful too."
