"The staff were so kind and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many great locations, including the beautiful waterfront, Gastown, and a short bus ride or drive to Stanley Park. Highly reccommend! Delicious food available at the restaurant, too. "

"It's an old hotel, not at all a 4-star hotel as advertised. Breakfast isn't included, and it's not the same as going to the restaurant next door. Paying over $350 USD a night was a rip-off, honestly. The room was old, there were insects (I noticed this morning), the beds were old, and the air conditioning was outdated. Where I live, this hotel costs no more than $100 USD a night. For $350 USD a night, I could stay at the JW Marriott where I live. So I think they should consider renovating because it's not worth that money. The only halfway decent thing about it is the location."

"The property was clearly in 1960s redo. The bones of it were very old, but it was very clean and somewhat updated. The bathroom was very small with small sink and bathtub. Those were not updated. The staff was wonderful very helpful. It was in a very good location also."
