"This is a great location, close to several transportation options. Lots of things to do within walking distance including Family mart, a grocery store, little shops and some amazing little cafes of various ilk. We used this as our launch pad for a week in Kyoto. It was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed in the garden suite. Seemed strange at first since it’s in the basement floor and you can’t get a sense of what time it is. But the garden wall grew on us and we liked the nature and the solitude. The onset was on that floor and that was such a plus we didn’t even know we’d get. Plus the coin laundry was so great to have and we love the breakfast in the morning. Most of all the location is perfect and the staff spoke English and was super helpful. "

"Really nice hotel in a great location in the modern area with many restaurants and shops but just across the river from the older area with many of the shrines and temples. Mattress was a little firm, but that seems to be the norm in Asia. "

"Beautiful hotel and room. Only negative for some rooms would be the sound of the trains that you can see from the upper levels. They do stop running after 11? But start up again early. It’s wasn’t super loud but a light sleeper would be woken."
