"ドッグランもあり綺麗な宿泊施設でした。オーナーさんへ伝えたい事も何点かあります。壁には色々とルールが貼ってあるのですが、台所の食器等は使用した場合には洗って下さいと記載がありました。洗った食器を置く台や布巾は無かったので、食器を洗ってから濡れたままコンロの上へ全て置きました。あとキッチンではサランラップは常備品としてあっても良いのではないでしょうか？また犬同伴可能な施設であるのにフローリングがツルツルで犬が何度も転けそうになっていました。ルールが厳しいのは良いですが、その分内容を充実させた方が良いと思います。"

"トイレと浴室が綺麗です。部屋もテラスもおしゃれで雰囲気がよかったです。前の宿泊者のものか継続的な問題かは不明ですが全体的にバーベキューの油の匂いがしました。タオルや浴室の足拭き等はないので要注意です。付近にはレストラン、コンビニはないので車以外での宿泊には事前準備が必要です。"

"The free shuttle service from Kyoto train station to the hotel and back to the train station ran every hour. It would also stop & drop off at Gion area. That was so convenient!!! We used it several times a day to get around. We loved it!!!! Made it so easy for English speaking Americans to feel confident about kicking around beautiful Kyoto & exploring on our own!"

"I very much appreciated the Nespresso machine in the lobby and the laundry machines. The location was right at the subway station, you can’t get more convenient than that! But also the neighborhood was walkable with restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket close by. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

The staff were very helpful when I arrived 30 minutes before my check-in time and they were happy to give me an early check-in which me and my partner greatly appreciated. The only complaint that I have is that the air conditioning smells weirdly metallic in the room."

"We had a lovely stay at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel. Located north of the main city center, it offers a wonderful, quieter escape, though you should expect to take a taxi to get to the main train station and most major sightseeing hubs. For us, the location's unique perks far outweighed the distance: Historic Walkability: Nijo Castle (Kyoto Castle) is well within walking distance and made for a fantastic, highly enjoyable excursion. Local Neighborhood Vibe: We absolutely loved walking around the immediate neighborhood. It feels authentic and local, yet remains incredibly convenient. Within a short walk, we found a great grocery store, several 7-Eleven locations, and a very handy coin-operated laundry. The Best Part: The hotel is an easy, beautiful walk to the expansive Kyoto Imperial Palace park grounds. One minor downside to note: Be careful with your physical room keys! The hotel will charge you a fee if you lose them or if you want to keep one as a souvenir. Overall, if you don't mind relying on taxis to venture further out, the Brighton offers a peaceful, authentic, and highly comfortable base for exploring Kyoto."
