"Out of everywhere I stayed in Japan during my trip, this was my favorite. It is so tranquil, boutique, full of hospitality. There is a seating area and huge footbath area outside, as well as shuttle to Kyoto Station, which is an amazing perk! You will likely wake up to a beautiful wide view of trees, distant mountain, and the footbath outside. There are nice Japanese pajamas left in the room as well as slippers. Yes, there is a refrigerator. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. My only negative about the experience is the staff member at the desk, being unorganized with charging me on things relating to the room. She made a mistake which caused an inconvenience, so I would recommend more training with bookings management. Overall, would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The property was in great condition very modern. Overall very clean and offered clean towels for everyday. Beds were comfortable. Huge pro was onsite free laundry with washers and dryers available. Nijo castle bus stop is across the street very convenient to get where you need to go or connect. Staff was very friendly. "

"From check in, spacious room (triple beds), washing machine in side the room, balcony, additional tatami space, locked up storage (before checkin till 17.00) to checkout via barcode, everything is highly efficient and very very bery easy. No human intervention needed at all. The only thing is road noise since our room is facing the road. You can literally hear some passerby's conversation and all the vehicle noise. But will definitely come back again. We love it!!! "
