"We arrived by ferry and ate dinner in town before trying to make our way to the bed and breakfast at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. We could not get an uber or taxi, so took the last packed bus of the night. With 4 adults and luggage, kind locals held suitcases on their laps. The best part of the room was the balcony, where we watched the total lunar eclipse, and then a beautiful sunrise. The breakfast was wonderful and the host most helpful. Great communication with the owners who gave lots of good advice and recommendations. Pompeii was even better than we imagined and we also walked to the top of Mount Vesuvius which was also interesting."
