"I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you."

"Apartment was clean, perfectly decent. The shower door needs putting back on its runners, a bit annoying to have to drag it across. The pillows are old and lumpy, need replacing, and the bed linen and towels are not great quality. Overall a perfectly fine place to stay. "

"Excellent location but poorly managed property. The house is on 3 levels which proved inaccessible for some family members. Carpet on one set of stairs was loose causing our 6 year old granddaughter to slip and fall down the stairs. Previous tenants had left raw chicken in a cupboard under the stairs causing a very nasty smell which was addressed by the owner and the cleaning company once it was pointed out to them. The previous occupants' garbage was left rotting outside and had to be cleaned up by myself (at the request of management). The dishwasher was unusable due to black mould being present inside. Grease and fat was inside the cutlery drawer and had to be scrubbed clean by myself. Carpets were dirty. The outside area was lovely but the seats were broken and there was no outside dining. The property is advertised as having onsite parking but this is only between the hours of 6pm and 8am and all other times you have to use a public paying car park which is a 10 minute walk away. Some of the above resulted in us vacating the property 5 days early."

"Very well located with plentiful car parking spaces opposite. Loads of pubs and eating places very near by. Very close to the main Lincoln attractions. The house was in good order, well equipped, clean and with a useful outside sitting area. Highly recommended. The only small issue was a check in and out time confusion as those provided by the host were different to what VRBO says and despite agreeing times direct with the host the cleaners still arrived before the agreed time. It wasn't a big problem though."
