"The good- the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is top notch, with amazing views and plenty of comfortable beach loungers. We snorkeled at the beach and there was coral and fish very close by. We had fun during the day at the beach lounging, walking, swimming, and reading. The bad- upon arrival, they told us we needed to pay “the other half” of what we owed. We had already paid in full on hotels.com, though apparently this was a mistake, that was supposed to only be half the price....

"Long walk from the coast, to the actual cabins area. Lots of wild dogs and cats are walking free throughout the property. Be prepared, the isaland has a lot of mosquitoes and flys."

"Great staff, food, atmosphere, nature. If you stay at one of the suites, it's wonderful 3-star hotel experience. Other rooms would be more like 2 stars. Problem (in general in Colombia) is constant loud music in common area, particularly the bass-heavy reggaeton. But can ask for change, however the next day it's back. "

"The staff was super kind and helpful, they have a transfer service from and to the city by boat between 10am and 5pm. The cabin I chose had AC and the bar has quite a nice menu for food and drinks. Basic amenities but just fine, the guys will help you in whatever way they can and you won't be pestered so much by vendors. On the other hand, they should think about installing some catch-fly lights cause insects can be really annoying, especially when eating."
