"Kitchen and floors were not clean at all. Food still stuck to cutlery and dirty glasses. Grubby work tops. Lots of cobwebs in the house, which is due to lack of cleaning. Bed & bathroom were clean enough. No mirrors in any of the rooms, we had to share 1 mirror in the landing between 5 girls which isn’t that great. To be honest if you’re not overly fussy or care where you stay it’s a great location and quiet village. "

"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"We recently celebrated a special family birthday in Stonewell Farmhouse (Friday to Monday). We had a wonderful time at the cottage which was well stocked with everything we needed for a large party including 2 dish washers! The property was clean, bright and welcoming. It has a large garden, barbeque area and a hot tub in a secluded sunny spot. The snooker table come dining table was a hit with everyone. I would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful spacious cottage with wonderful views...
