"Both families really enjoyed the stay at the barn owl. It was a great place to relax and chill out as a group. The barn was clean and had everything we required for the stay, Kelly was very accommodating and provided some local knowledge and guidance for the stay. We would stay again thanks"

"This is a lovely and peaceful place and very friendly people. The cottage was very clean and tidy and has a open fire . Dogs are welcome and a very good place for your dog . Lost of walks you can go on and someone really nice places to visit.You need a car but everything is easy to get to and easy to find. It only a 30 min drive to the beach Maryport is a lovely beach to go to. They is more than one beach â›±ï¸ you can get to . Keswick is a lovely town and lovely place to walk around some...

"The bungalow was as described very clean and had a lot of nice touches robes for shower tea biscuits coffee etc lots of room for storage and beautiful scenery open fire as well and Georgina was excellent with communication instructions would highly recommend "

A perfect overnight accommodation near Carlisle

"This hotel is of a top standard that many hotels could learn from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. This hotel is the perfect half way stop between Aberdeen and the Midlands. Room was excellent. Service faultless. Restaurant and food top quality. Limited food choice but all top quality selection for all tastes. We loved this hotel. Congratulation to the management and staff for a lovely stay."
